Trilogy Health Services, an innovative, dynamic Long-Term Care, Skilled Nursing and Assisted Living company based out of Louisville, KY, has an outstanding career opportunity for a motivated, detail-oriented, compassionate individual committed to delivering outstanding customer service to join our Home Office Support Team as a VICE PRESIDENT OF LIFE ENRICHMENT AND MEMORY Care.

As our VICE PRESIDENT OF LIFE ENRICHMENT AND MEMORY CARE you will be responsible for supporting and leading a team of ten Life Enrichment and Memory Care Division Support professionals, who assist our Health Campus leaders in the operations of resident engagement (activities) and dementia care programming. You will manage the overall company operations and services of over 100 buildings in accordance with resident needs, government regulations and adhere to company policies and procedures as it relates to activities and dementia care. The successful candidate will offer guidance and assistance to our health campus leaders in maintaining person centered options, while providing industry best engaging leisure programs for a full contiuum of care. Our ideal candidate will be forward thinking and provide innovative industry best approaches, including wellness, life long learning, dementia programs, and strong volunteer involvement. Duties include developing, writing, training and auditing programming to meet the needs of residents from short term stays, long term, assisted living, memory care and independent living. Will plan and implement company strategy as it relates to resident engagement, staff training; coordinating educational opportunities; assisting in marketing and sales efforts through strong social media presence. This position requires travel. Our ideal candidate will have experience leading a team of division/regional professionals, multi-facility management, possess five (5) years of experience in a healthcare, senior living or long-term care environment with a minimum of five (5) years of dementia care experience required. Masters prepared candidate preferred.

Qualifications

* Masters degree in related field preferred
* Four (4) year degree in recreational therapy, nationally certified activity professional, medical, psychological, social or mental health counseling with emphasis on gerontology
* Five (5) years experience in a healthcare, senior living, or long-term care environment
* Minimum of (5) years prior dementia care experience preferred
* Extensive multi-facility consulting experience required
* Strong leadership, operations, project and management skills required, minimum of 3 years prior team management preferred
* Creativity, innovation and team building skills a must
* Must have knowledge of Life Enrichment, Memory Care principles, practices, concepts, and procedures as applied to the care of patients in a Skilled or Assisted Living facility
* Knowledge of Alzheimer's disease and related dementia care
