Salary: Dependent on Experience

Work Hours: 8:00 A.M. thru 4:30 P.M. Monday thru Friday

Assist with motivation, training (instruction and hands-on demonstration), and supervision of consumers in the Skills Training and Rehabilitative Services Program (S.T.A.R.S) achieve maximum skills in activities of daily living in preparation for independent living. Monitor attendance, daily log in/out, and timely document consumers’ activities progress. Maintain the safety and security of consumers, activity areas and supply inventory. Work well with other team members to ensure program runs efficiently to the enhancement of all team members.

Special Requirements: High School Diploma, or equivalent; and ability to meet any credentialing requirements. Experience teaching and/or training disabled and/or disadvantaged individuals; good interpersonal and communication skills, and ability to adapt to changing environment/situations; artistic aptitude. Working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel. Able to lift 50 lbs.

LEGAL REQUIREMENTS: Valid and current ID, background check, and drug screen. Must meet MHMRTC staff requirements.
