Sales Trainer - Salary
Essential duties and responsibilities:
Develops strategies to support and stimulate sales through AmeriLife's brokerage channel
Acts as internal wholesaler to AmeriLife’s marketing entities, for all AIA TPA exclusive/proprietary product rollouts/campaigns
Determines Marketers’ training needs by studying sales results/reports, conferring with Marketing Principals, and listening/observing Marketer sales calls/encounters
Obtains product knowledge and proven sales concepts from carriers, wholesalers, successful Marketers, etc.
Develops marketing ideas and promotional pieces that support the Marketer’s sales efforts to contract new agents
Establishes turn-key like campaigns that help Marketers meet and exceed expected sales/production results
Prepares newly hired Marketers by conducting orientation to Medicare Supplement, Life and Annuity products, sales ideas/concepts, resources and assistance
Acts as liaison between Carrier affiliates and Marketing Organizations
Achieves targeted sales results; services assigned Marketing Groups, designs and executes marketing and sales strategies and programs
In conjunction with management, strives to maintain and consistently enhance AmeriLife's competitive position in the marketplace
Supports Company's financial objectives by recommending budget items, processes, and controls costs
Updates job knowledge by participating in carrier meetings, reading professional publications, maintaining business networks, and participating in professional organizations
Skills and Qualifications:
Proven training skills and the ability to motivate others
Provides effective feedback, coaching and self-development
A motivation for sales, sales planning and orienting Employees
Prior sales background in insurance product - Medicare Supplement, Life and Annuities

High school or equivalent
Corporate trainer in insurance products: 1 year
