Concrete Supply of Illinois, CSI, a locally owned ready mix company, is looking for a concrete sales representative for its Alton, Troy, Godfrey, Edwardsville, St. Louis Metro East Illinois Market.
The ideal candidate will have experience in concrete construction or construction sales and be familiar with the St. Louis Metro Illinois construction market.

Qualifications• Have great customer service, selling skills and contacts tailored to the construction industry.
• Ability to grow sales and expand or penetrate channels to market
• A quick sense in identifying, prospecting and improving client relationships
• Quick thinker, able to understand clients’ needs and company’s value proposition to best promote and close account sales
• Must be physically fit as this position requires navigating construction job sites
• Must be able to follow directions given from customers and dispatch our services
• Must be flexible with duties and schedule changes to meet the demands of our customers
• Must be self-motivated to grow the business and work closely with the internal team
• Must have good computer skills and strong in windows programs
Responsibilities• Manages key accounts, grow sales and find new markets and channels within the region
• Develops and maintains relationships with top management of national and regional accounts located within the region
• Analyzes sales levels and trends, and initiates action as necessary to ensure attainment of sales objectives
• Executes the Branch’s annual sales plans and related sales strategies
• Provides sales data, market trends and competitive activity to both Branch and Corporate management
• Follows all required administrative policies and ensures company image and brand are well represented in the market at all times
• Identifies, coordinates and participates in regional and national trade associations
• Maintains a professional behavior at all times while working well with customers and colleagues; leading by example
