We are currently looking for a full-time Night Production Manager. Night production manager must produce baked goods to be sold in the Bakery while Managing the bakers, and interns assigned to the night shift.
Responsibilities of the position include:
Manages bakers, cooks, and interns that are assigned to the night shift.
Must be able to generate and maintain employee schedules and records in accordance with payroll and human resources.
Responsible for health department requirements.
Responsible for Night production sheets.
Maintains proper levels of inventory for the display cases and customer orders.
May fill in for the Executive Pastry Chef in his/her absence.
Requirements of the position include:
Minimum of an Associate Degree in related field.
Two years previous experience in related field.
An equivalent combination of education and work experience may be considered.
Must be able to stand for extended periods of time.
Must be able to hear and speak well enough to communicate with customers, students, faculty, and staff face to face, and maintain a pleasant and inviting environment for all.
Must be able to produce products using standard and non-standard recipes.
Must have basic pastry skills
Must be able to work with others and supervise cooks, bakers, and interns in the production of like items
Must be able to evaluate product errors and make corrections to prevent waste.
Must maintain a proper inventory of stock items for production of retail/wholesale products.
Must be able to keep simple records.
Must be able to conduct inventory and report needed supplies.
Must maintain proper sanitation standards.
