As a senior level position, the Senior Network Engineer will be helping to lead projects in various customer environments, acting as a point of escalation for other engineers across several project landscapes and performing as a technical leader within customer environments.

Education requirements• 5+ years of hands on experience working with Cisco routers, switches, firewalls and other networking products in a multi-site network.

Experience requirementsSkills and Qualifications:
Required:
• Network+ or equivalent vendor cert (CCENT, etc)
• Strong routing experience within Cisco environments. Deep knowledge of OSPF, BGP and EIGRP and their interplay.
• Strong switching experience within Cisco environments. Deep understanding of L2 security, spanning-tree and L2 topology designs
• Wireless experience: RF fundamentals, controller based management and security implications
• Firewall and VPN experience: HA setup’s, client and L2L VPN options, NAT and security zones
• Familiarity with corporate processes such as change management, project deadlines and technical leadership.
• Excellent time management and issue follow-up skills.
• Excellent verbal and written competency. Strong documentation skills are a must.
• Exemplary customer service skills are a must!

QualificationsNetwork+ or equivalent vendor cert (CCENT, etc)
Experience with computer networks (something bigger than their home Netgear router) and an understanding of the OSI model
General communication and customer service skills
Ability to learn and adapt to unknown situations
Be smart

ResponsibilitiesCore Duties:
• Ability to self-manage multiple projects with competing deadlines.
• Acting as a point of escalation for other engineers.
• Performing as a technical leader within customer environments

SkillsRequired:
