Now seeking a Project Search Job Coach in Fort Worth, TX.

SALARY:
Dependent on Experience

8:00 A.M. thru 4:30 P.M., Monday thru Friday

GENERAL JOB DUTIES:
Compassionate and Patient Professional interested in the personal satisfaction and reward of seeing your clients succeed and break through barriers due to your guidance, and motivation. Provide specialized job/task training at job site for Project Search and DARS consumers, and assist with their acclimation to the work environment with the goal of reaching required level of productivity and employment retention; serve as liaison between client and employer/supervisor; must be able to manage active case load and multiple clients simultaneously; ensure maintenance of current enrollment logs, notes, reports and required documents are in file, and billing is completed in timely basis. Ensure clients served have appropriate transportation, and/or coaching on use of public transportation. Advocates for clients in areas of behavior management, program modification, job accommodation needs, assistive devices, social and physical integration in the work environment. Develop employer relationships to instill a positive image, confidence and assurance in using Goodwill as an employment service. Work cooperatively and effectively with clients, employers, community partner agencies, and staff. Complete and pass UNT certification courses as required by DARS within 90 days of employment.

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor Degree preferred; a combination of education and experience may be substituted for required education. A minimum of two (2) years of experience in management/supervision, and working with disabled and/or disadvantaged clients. Experience in job development. Excellent interpersonal communication skills; strong experience in office administrative procedures; MS Professional Office Suite and attentive to details. Ability to motivate individuals with disabilities/employment barriers. Mobile, with own transportation to be able to travel to various off site locations. Bilingual skills a plus.

LEGAL REQUIREMENTS:
Valid and current ID; background check, and drug screen. Must meet Texas Workforce Commission staff qualification requirements.
