General Job Description

Job Duties and Tasks
 Supervises and coordinates activities of workers engaged in janitorial services.
 Assigns janitorial work to employees, following material and work requirements.
 Inspects work performed to ensure conformance to specifications and established standards.
 Records personnel data on specified forms.
 Recommends personnel actions, such as hires and discharges, to ensure proper staffing
 Confers with staff to resolve production and personnel problems.
 Trains workers in janitorial methods and procedures and proper operation of equipment.
 Issues janitorial supplies and equipment to workers to ensure quality and timely delivery of services.
 Coordinating the Work and Activities of Others -- Getting members of a group to work together to accomplish tasks.
 Scheduling Work and Activities -- Scheduling events, programs, and activities, as well as the work of others. Communicating with Supervisors, Peers, or Subordinates -- Providing
information to supervisors, co-workers, and subordinates by telephone, in written form, e-mail, or in person.
 Getting Information -- Observing, receiving, and otherwise obtaining information from all relevant sources.
 Inspecting Equipment, Structures, or Material -- Inspecting equipment, structures, or materials to identify the cause of errors or other problems or defects.
 Suggest Discipline or corrective action for employees.
 As needed may be required to drive to multiple location in a single shift.

 Must have a verifiable background experience of not less than three of the last five years in a multilocation Supervisory role.
 Must have a clean criminal background check for the last 10 years
 Must have or can obtain a clean drivers license in Missouri or Illinois
