Reservationist (Inbound Call Center Associate)

What you’ll do: The purpose of the Reservationist is to assist guests in the planning of their marketing vacation while focusing on providing an unforgettable guest experience. Reservationist will also use sales techniques, guest service skills and strong attention to detail. This is an hourly plus commission position in a fast paced, high volume inbound call center environment. A Reservationist will answer guest inquiries about hotel services, their pre-paid vacation and applicable upgrades and enhancements. Reservationists will be responsible for maintaining goals assigned by management. Successful Reservationists are self- motivated, strong problem solvers and are able to build relationships with a diverse group of people.

Specific Duties Include:
• Answer inbound reservation calls
• Utilize exemplary sales techniques
• Provide outstanding service to all guests
• Process guest requests
• Meet booking conversion rates, sales quotas and other performance metrics
• Sell enhancements and upgrades where applicable (attraction tickets, car rentals and room upgrades)
• Problem solving and guest de-escalations

What we do: The Bluegreen Vacations Service Center (BVSC) is part of Bluegreen Vacations’ Corporate Marketing sector. At the BVSC we have several departments that are responsible for both the selling of discounted vacations and creating reservations, adding upgrades, attraction tickets and car rentals to pre-existing vacation purchases. We also provide world-class customer support to existing guests. We’re a lively, fun group of professionals eagerly seeking to add some fresh talent to our Bluegreen family! Our call center takes inbound and makes outbound calls, has recently grown by 150 people, and is consistently upgrading and updating materials, software and programs to allow for efficient and exceptional customer service to our guests. Most positions are full time and offer outstanding benefits. We are primarily seeking individuals who are able to work a flexible schedule that will include nights and weekends. Alternative shifts are awarded by seniority, performance and attendance.

What you need:
• High school diploma or equivalent
• 1 year in a customer service or sales environment
• Strong computer proficiency, including typing skills and the ability to multitask
• Self motivated in a commission based environment
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook
• Strong verbal, interpersonal and listening skills with the ability to quickly build rapport with a diverse group of individuals
• Ability to be flexible with work schedule (nights and weekends)
• Successful Reservationists are self- motivated, strong problem solvers and are able to build relationships with each guest
