Diabetes America – Inbound/Outbound
Assessment Profile (indicate primary profile and note other profiles that apply if the position is multi-faceted… example, care dominate/secondary sales)
Program employees will be assisting in several facets of patient scheduling for Diabetes America. This includes scheduling of yearly required scans, clinic/physician appointment and new referral appointments.
CCAs will be making outbound calls to patients, their caregivers, patient spouses, etc. in order to schedule them for their various appointments.
CCAs will also be taking any inbound calls from messages left for patients.
CCAs will be scheduling patients via fax for new referrals.
Hours of Operation will be M-Friday 8:00 am and 8:00 pm CST and Saturday 10a-4pm.
Contract Requirements (background check specifics, drug testing, hiring requirements)
County level background check for previous 7 years.
9 panel drug screen.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities Necessary for Program (beyond what is stated on Job Description)
Ability to multi-task and maneuver through multiple call flows and systems based on the interactions with customers. Healthcare knowledge specifically to working in an office setting; scheduling appointments; dealing with patients directly. Strong customer service experience preferred. Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively, with tact and compassion with all types of customers – from medical providers to consumers of healthcare. Ability to adjust communication style based on situation/individual as appropriate. Comfort with interfacing and educating internal and/or external customers. Because program is a start-up business, comfort in working with a changing and evolving program is essential.
