The part time HR Generalist for the TN site is responsible for supporting the key areas of human resources and works closely with HR management. Functional responsibilities for this position include benefits administration, employee relations, onboarding, policy implementation, company programs, employment law compliance and related clerical duties.

Partners with employees and management to communicate various human resource policies, procedures, standards and government regulations. Assists in the review and implementation of personnel policies and procedures.

•Responsible for timely benefit orientation and enrollment (health insurance, 401(k), etc.) for newly eligible employees, life events and open enrollment.

•Supports the process of recruiting new employees, reviews applications and interviews applicants. Conducts onboarding procedures with new hires.

•Properly maintains employee information (for responsible site) according to company policy, for electronic records as well as paper files.

•Maintains compliance with federal and state regulations concerning employment.

•Performs other related duties as required and assigned.

EQUIPMENT & COMPUTER SOFTWARE USED
eCollections, DAKCS, Microsoft Office, telephone, fax, copier, scanner

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources with a minimum of 4-5 years HR experience
PHR, SPHR preferred. Certification; additional equivalent experience in lieu of a degree will be considered

•Strong knowledge of federal and state employment laws and regulations

•Ability to maintain highest level of confidentiality and work with all levels of employees

•Must maintain a well groomed professional appearance and demeanor at all times

•Must possess a high level attention to detail with multi-tasking skills

•Ability to prioritize and work in a fact paced stressful environment

•Ability to adapt to a flexible schedule

•Proficient in computer skills including Microsoft Office, social media and other internet applications

•Excellent interpersonal, written and oral communications skills

•Ability to work in a team fostered environment in addition to being an independent thinker and a self-starter
