This position will be responsible for performing maintenance service and repairs in the areas of plumbing, carpentry, painting, electrical, and appliance servicing. Must be knowledgeable in the procedures and safety measures associated with industry and company standards. Requires 1-3 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Has knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular maintenance field. Must have knowledge of hand and power tools and mechanical aptitude. Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job. Works under immediate supervision. Reports to a supervisor or manager. Must be able to use good judgment when addressing a given problem, followed by creative solutions and, the initiative to complete the work.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND TASKS (up to five):
*Work in a team environment to perform pre check in inspections, repairs, and preparation of guest villas. Perform preventative maintenance as prescribed by company standards.
*Assist guests and staff in the resolution of unit maintenance concerns, complaints and questions.
*Maintain accurate records of units serviced.
*Perform any other duties deemed necessary by Manager

Requirements EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
*High school diploma or equivalent in work experience or vocational training.
*At least one to three years of building maintenance experience.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
*Must have valid Driver’s License
*Must have ability to perform semi skilled work in general maintenance.
*Must have moderate skills in painting, caulking, tile repair, carpentry, plumbing, appliance repair, and electrical trades.
*Must possess knowledge of telephone and TV troubleshooting for signal.
*Must have knowledge of hand and power tools and mechanical aptitude.
*Must be able to follow written instruction and complete documentation associated with unit maintenance.
*While performing the duties of this job the employee will be required to sit or stand for extended periods of time. Will be required to bend, twist, reach, push, pull, operate hand tools (may include operating industrial machinery), and motor vehicles. Must be able to lift between thirty to fifty pounds. Specific work assignments may change without notice. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions of the job.
*The majority of work will be performed in a non-climate-controlled environment, will be exposed to severe inclement weather and varying degrees of extreme temperature. Will be exposed to various industrial chemicals, cleaning agents, etc. Will be exposed to strong odors, and loud noise levels.
*Schedules will vary depending on business needs, and may entail working nights, weekends and holidays. Must be flexible to work outside of normal departmental operating hours.
