Education requirementsMinimum: High school graduate, GED or equivalent

Experience requirements• Minimum: Demonstrated clerical skills (typing, filing, telephone courtesy)
• Preferred: Previous medical office experience

Qualifications• Knowledge of medical coding preferred
• Knowledge of business office operations, telephone etiquette and basic bookkeeping principles
• Knowledge of HIPAA regulations
• Must be computer literate and have exceptional telephone skills
• Must be able to display excellent telephone/switchboard etiquette
• Demonstrated clerical skills (typing, filing, telephone courtesy)
• Must have consistent, punctual and reliable attendance


ResponsibilitiesThe Front Desk Supervisor is responsible to the Center Administrator and oversees completion of daily front office tasks. This role also functions as back-up for the routine Medical Receptionist functions, such as, appointment scheduling, patient registration, cashiering, answering incoming calls and other related clerical functions.

Skills• Ability to interact and verbally communicate effectively with patients and all levels of personnel in a professional, courteous and effective manner with excellent customer service skills
• Ability to multi- task in a high paced environment with good organizational skills
• Ability to follow written and oral instructions and to work with general guidance
• Ability to read, speak, write, and understand the English language fluently
• Ability to travel may be required
