Responsible for managing the Food and Beverage Department in order to create a dining experience that will ensure guest satisfaction.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

•Supervises day-to-day activities; provides training, planning, assigning and directing work; interviews and hires; appraises performance, rewards, and disciplines employees; corrects and approves time cards, schedules time off, and posts shift bids; and addresses complaints and resolves problems.
•Performs all functions in accordance with applicable Tribal, Federal and other laws and gaming regulations and Kickapoo Lucky Eagle policies and procedures. Ensures the highest possible standards of guest service are provided and listens and responds to guest and employee concerns and questions.
•Responsible for data input for computer system and restocking of the cigarette vending machines. Assists in monitoring Food and Beverage department inventories ensuring accountability and processes are closely adhered to.
•Responsible for verifying all work schedules and follow proper documentation rules including standard operating procedures and approved policies. Assists in completing departmental schedules as assigned by the Assistant Manager. Responsible for checking that all bars are clean and clutter free.
•Responsible for ensuring that all front of house coolers that contain food items are properly labeled and dated. Responsible for checking out department keys to open and close bars.
•Ensures that all areas are properly cleaned and sanitized before closing the venue: the Buffet, Bingo, Winners Sports Bar and dining area, River Bend, The High Limit and the Employee Dining Area. Promptly and professionally handles guest's issues and communicates opportunities and concerns to Assistant Manager.
•Communicates performance standards, expectations, and gives timely constructive feedback on tasks and assignments. Attends, and satisfactorily completes all required training as assigned and required. Manages and maintains security of confidential information entrusted to position.

•Ability to use office equipment with strong skills in Microsoft Office.
•Ability to use Micros point of sales systems.
•Mathematical Skills: Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide.
•Language Skills: Excellent oral and written communications skills. Spanish or other language skills a plus.

•While performing the duties of this position, the employee is regularly required to stand, sit, walk, bend for extended periods; reach with hands and arms; talk and listen on a regular basis.
•Lift, push and pull up to 50 lbs.

•Ability to work for extended periods in an office under artificial fluorescent lighting. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to smoke, toxic materials, air contaminants, noise, and temperature extremes.
•The employee must be able to perform under pressure and work long hours under stressful conditions. The employee may be exposed to the risks associated in attempting to resolve issues with difficult guests and extremely irate staff members.
Flexibility: The employee may need to work nights, weekends, holidays and/or extended hours if required.
Education and Experience
•High school diploma or GED certificate required.
•Minimum of one (1) year related experience; supervisory experience necessary.
•Must be at least 18 years of age.
•KTTT Gaming Commission Gaming License, including successful completion of background check necessary to obtain and maintain License. Responsible to keep all documents current and valid at all times. Must be able to provide authorization to work in the United States. Must have access to reliable transportation to commute to and from work.
Education and Experience
•Associate's Degree preferred.
•Native American preference is observed.
