POSITION SUMMARY
The Financial Analyst will be part of the Finance team supporting corporate and business priorities. The incumbent will manage most of the reporting generated by the team and become an expert in the use of our information systems. Opportunity to perform analysis and influence decisions with sales, marketing, merchandising, inventory, and our profit centers.

PRINCIPLE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Participate in the identification and development of strategies to achieve financial plan.
Manage reporting schedule that includes daily, weekly, and monthly reporting.
Make recommendations to streamline and enhance existing reporting as well as assist in the development of new reporting tools.
Utilize financial reports to review operating performance for products, market locations, installation, and sales.
Understand the levers of profitability, focusing on metrics that align with profitability goals.
Communicate analysis in a manner that enables the business sponsor to understand and act on the information.
Provide ad hoc analysis as requested

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES REQUIRED
This position requires a 4 year Degree in Finance.
3 - 5 years of experience in Finance or financial field in retail industry (previous background/knowledge of sales/advertising a plus).
Knowledge of business, finance analysis, financial modeling, and basic understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles is required.
Must also have excellent working knowledge of Excel and basic understanding of Microsoft Access.
Siebel Analytics or other business intelligence tool experience, a plus.
Ability to manage deadlines to ensure all projects/reports are delivered on time with the utmost accuracy.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Outstanding organizational skills; analytical and multi-tasking skills.
Detail oriented.
Team player.
