We are looking for a Financial Analyst to join our FP&A team. The Financial Analyst will work with cross-functional groups to pull facts together and prepare price modeling for our client desserts, amongst other financial and accounting responsibilities.
Develop and maintain product price modeling and analysis at the individual product and customer portfolio level. Communicate pricing analysis results and recommendations to senior management.
Budgeting & Forecasting
Assist FP&A team and other departments in preparing annual budget and quarterly forecasts.
Monitor variances to the budget and forecast throughout the year and present findings to appropriate parties.
Utilize accounting and finance department’s information systems at the subject matter expert level.
Maintain monthly financial reports and KPIs to monitor performance to budget and communicate findings to multiple levels within organization.
Coordinate with cross functional departments, assess their needs for financial information, develop reports, analyses, and tools to meet those needs.
Maintain key performance indicators and operational metrics for product profitability and cross functional departmental performance.
Work closely with the accounting department and assist with month-end closing as assigned.
Bachelor’s Degree from a major university in Accounting, Finance or other quantitative field, required.
Exceptional mathematics and Excel modeling skills.
Ability to extract and analyze raw data, draw conclusions, and make actionable recommendations.
Able to handle the pressure of ambiguous details while achieving timely completion of deadlines.
Competitive sense of urgency around completion of workload.
Two (2) to three (3) years relevant work experience.
Excellent analytical, quantitative, written, and verbal communication skills.
Ability to solve practical problems in a timely manner while dealing with a high level of ambiguity and conflicting goals.
Detail oriented with proven accuracy.
Ability to perform profitability and variance analysis.
Working knowledge of financial budgeting and forecasting.
Work overtime/weekends as necessary to meet customer deadlines for deliverables.
