Salary: Dependent on Experience
Work Hours: 8:00 A.M. thru 4:30 P.M., Monday thru Friday


DIRECTOR OF WORKFORCE DEVELOPMENT – DENTON, TX
Direct, manage, supervise and coordinate all daily operations of workforce development programs, related activities, and staff; development of business partnerships, including meeting with business and nonprofit partners to establish sectorial employment for the Denton service area. This position is responsible for the research, strategy, weekly coordination of partners’ job orders to the job centers.

REQUIRED: Requires a Master’s Degree in Business Administration, Human or Social Services, Psychology, Rehabilitative Science or related field, with two (2) years of experience in management/supervision, combination of marketing and placement services, and working with profit and nonprofit organizations. Excellent interpersonal communication (oral and written),and analytical skills. Must be capable of performing any job or work assigned, and of working in a fast and steady pace in order to achieve established performance outcomes. Proficient in use of standard computer operations and relevant software. Mobile, with ability to access file cabinets, office equipment, etc. in the process of performing job functions, and able to provide own transportation for travel to off-site locations. Bilingual a plus.

LEGAL REQUIREMENTS: Valid State Driver License/ID, background check, and drug screen.
