The Certified Nurse Aide - Restorative is responsible for providing nursing restorative care to residents that is designed to strengthen muscles, assist with mobility, promote independence, and prevent functional declines; ensuring residents attain or maintain the highest possible physical, mental and emotional well-being possible for each resident without functional declines unless the decline is documented as unavoidable while maintaining compliance with all applicable laws, regulatory and organizational standards.
High school diploma or general education diploma (GED)
1 or more years’ experience in a long-term health care setting
Required License and/or Certification:
Certified as Nursing Assistant, Commonwealth of Kentucky
Completed additional instruction and training in restorative care procedures and have appropriate documentation as evidence
