Job Title: CDL Instructor – Professional Truck Driver for NTICD
Locations: 2 f/t (40 Hours Week) @ Campus Dr. Location --- 4005 Campus Dr., Fort Worth, Texas 76119
Salary: Dependent on Experience
Work Hours: 6:30 A.M. thru 3:00 P.M., Monday thru Friday; occasional weekends for special events

General Job Duties: Provide professional commercial truck driving skills training to students in a classroom and in the field in industrial setting while under the direction of the NTICD Director (North Texas Institute for Career Development). Monitor, document, and evaluate students’ progress, and prepare appropriate records and reports. Develop and maintain truck driver curricula, and individualized training where necessary. Work in conjunction with school representatives and advisory committees; participate in staffing and faculty meetings. Coordinate with NTICD Employment Specialist to secure employment for students. Other duties as assigned.
Special Requirements: High School Diploma or GED required; teaching experience preferred with three (3) years of full-time tractor trailer driving experience within the ten (10) years immediately preceding employment by NTICD. Must have good communication, MS Professional Office software, and basic bookkeeping skills; and certification for completion of 40 hours safety education and driver training.
Legal Requirements: Valid State Class A CDL License, background check, and drug screen. Must meet Texas Workforce Commission Career Schools and Colleges staff requirements. Must maintain all state/federal driver’s qualifications and certifications.
