The Cafeteria Attendant prepares salads, fruits, dressings, cold meats and other dishes according to Hilton's high standards of quality.
Must have good working knowledge of accepted standards of sanitation. Prepares all pantry food items according to standard pantry recipes. Ensure consistency of product to team members. Keep hot and cold food products rotated to ensure fresh products are available.
Ensure proper receiving, storage (including temperature settings) and rotation of food products so as to comply with the Department of Health.
Adhere to control procedures for cost and quality. Daily cleaning of walk-in and reach-in boxes for safety reasons. Reports any equipment in need of repair to chef and engineering, for service.
Ability to stand and work on a continuous basis for a maximum of 10-12 hours, in confined areas.
Thorough knowledge of food products standard recipes and proper preparation. Ability to read, write and speak English to comprehend and communicate job functions.
Ability to grasp, lift and/or carry a maximum of 50 lbs. on a continuous schedule. Ability to push/pull goods weighing a maximum of 200 lbs. on a continuous schedule.
Minimum of 2 years prior experience as a Cafeteria Attendant with similar size property is preferred.
Ability to obtain ServSafe certification. As part of the Zachry's employment process, finalist candidates will be required to complete a drug test and background check, prior to an offer being extended.
