The Business Administrator is primarily responsible for assisting in day-to-day business administration of the TGS National team. The Business Administrator is responsible for providing support regarding all organization, documentation, and general day-to-day operations to TGS National. The Business Administrator must understand compliance in different markets outside of the state of Colorado. This includes conducting research on state laws and regulations regarding cannabis in multiple states, municipalities, and jurisdictions. Qualified candidates must be able to perform basic research analysis for inquiries by the TGS National Team. This position is responsible for handling all non-disclosure agreements, and license renewals under the guidance of the Director of Business Development.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Understand the complexity of compliance requirements governing the industry, including potential markets outside the state of Colorado
• Assist in obtaining license renewals for states and cities while meeting all required deadlines prior to expiration dates
• Assist in application creation and research analysis for basic level inquiries regarding new ventures
• Perform both business and personal support tasks, prioritizing projects simultaneously while ensuring follow-through is completed in a timely manner
• Create organizational standards for the National Team and assure standards are communicated to Team Members. This includes filing cabinets, book files, electronic forms and files, and mail systems
• Establish and maintain office organization and order in an efficient and accurate manner
• Maintain confidentiality of sensitive company and Team Member information
• Organize and maintain TGS National spreadsheets
• Support the VP of Finance, Operations, and Sales as needed
• Digitally and physically file and organize all company documents as needed
• Work with sales and operations teams to coordinate all projects entered into Clarizen
• Organize and handle all contract and non-disclosure agreements under the guidance of the Director of Business Development
• Manage NDA FranConnect database
• Coordinate and schedule all facility tours as needed
• Assist in scheduling, researching and booking locations for travel
• All other administrative tasks and job duties as assigned


Qualifications

Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or equivalent field required

Training:
• Must maintain current knowledge and adhere to all state policy and regulations regarding Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA), and TGS National

Required Skills & Experience :
• Excellent computer, mathematical, language, and reasoning skills
• High level attention to detail
• Mastery of Microsoft Office applications and familiarity with current versions
• Technical skills to include digital file maintenance and handling, uploading, downloading, file conversions, file naming conventions, and document storage
• Familiarity with word processing, database, and web-based software applications

Preferred Skills & Experience :
• Ability to prioritize tasks with shifting workloads in a fast-paced office environment and meet deadlines
• Knowledge of national and state marijuana laws, national and state regulations; Previous marijuana industry experience preferred with priority given to candidates with experience in licensed facilities
• Knowledge of advanced Microsoft Office features
• Understanding of basic printing, binding and publishing needs, as they relate to document security and distribution
• 1-3 years’ experience supporting national franchise expansion

Work Requirements:
• Must be able to work in an office environment with moderate to loud noise level

Travel Requirements :
• Occasionally requires local travel, as needed.
