Bartender -AM Shift- Part-time

Prepare and serve drinks to our guests following the company's procedures ensuring the serving of alcohol in a safe and responsible manner. Support the Crowne Plaza hallmarks and standards. Greet guests and present daily drink specials and answers questions regarding beverages. Perform inventory management of all beer, wine, liquor, juices and cut fruit. Responsible for the collection of money from cocktails and the end of day report. Complete hotel guests' payment transactions as outlined in the cash and charge procedures. Maintain cash drawer to ensure accuracy and security. Perform beginning of shift and end of shift duties. Senior bartender may act as Manager on Duty when Bar Manager is out. Follow procedures regarding the serving of alcohol in a safe and responsible manner. All other duties as required.
High school or equivalent required. 2 to 5 years of bartending experience. One must have knowledge of wines, spirits, and specialty drinks. Basic math skills and be able to exchange currency. One must have the ability to cross train to work in other areas. One must show excellent guest service skills. Demonstrate time management abilities. One should show precision and strong attention to detail. One must demonstrate careful adherence to well defined work. Have the ability to follow established procedures very closely. One must be able to work nights and weekends. Minimum 20 years of age to serve alcoholic beverages per KY liquor law. Must be able to stand and exert fast paced mobility for periods of up to 4 hours in length. Must have good sense of balance, be able to bend and kneel and have the ability to lift bus pans and trays frequently weighing up to 25 pounds. One must be able to lift kegs weighing up to 100 pounds. The statements in this job description are intended to describe the essential nature and level of work being performed.
