Empire Today is looking for a dynamic Assistant Sales Manager to be responsible for conducting Sales Team training, coaching and development. This person will also monitor and manage lead counts as well as ensure the compliance of sales contractors. This position reports to the Area Sales Manager.

Duties and Responsibilities:
Manage, train, and counsel sales representatives
Assess daily sales performance against stated goals and implement improvement plans accordingly
Provide weekly coaching sessions to representatives to ensure goal attainment is achieved
Assist with recruiting sales force
Maintain, monitor and track sales leads to ensure accurate reporting
Conduct daily recaps and follow-up for cancellations, installations, and quotes
Assist with developing, planning and preparation of training curriculum for sales meetings
Monitor, research, and resolve service requests
Verify all sales paperwork is in compliance with company guidelines
Serve as liaison for sales support to achieve customer satisfaction

Knowledge and Skills Required:
5+ years sales experience and 3+ years of management or training experience
Strong selling, coaching, and motivational skills
Ability to work effectively in a stressful environment while multi-tasking and meeting deadlines
Strong oral and written communication skills
Excellent problem solving skills
Detail oriented
Associates Degree preferred
Proficient Computer skills (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook)
Knowledge of home improvement industry a plus
