The Assistant Director of Admissions Responsible for high school recruitment within Southern Indiana school corporations Conducting weekly Campus Visit Program Assists with on-campus programming Attends college fairs throughout Southern Indiana and Greater Louisville areas

Participate in recruiting services on- and off-campus; personal contacts; college fairs; middle/high school visits, information events; community activities In consultation with the Assistant Vice Chancellor of Enrollment/Admissions, evaluate the recruitment activities of the campus and make recommendations for changes and improvements Assist with the development of collaborative relationships with on-campus personnel; local schools, colleges/universities and community agencies and organizations as they relate to the implementation of the campus recruitment plan Assist with the development and implementation of communication and information tools to prospective students Conduct all activities within the established guidelines of the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act ( FERPA ) Assist with recruiting of at risk students and students from special populations The above list of duties is not to be construed as an exhaustive list. Other duties logically associated with the position may be assigned. Serve in the community and on committees as required.

Bachelor's degree required. Demonstrated experience in managing multiple projects. Must possess excellent "people" skills including working successfully with diverse populations, including (but not limited to) college and school personnel, teachers and prospective students. Must possess skills and experience in public speaking. Previous computer experience is necessary. Must possess a willingness and an ability to travel.

Minimum of one to two years of relevant experience demonstrating leadership qualities preferred
