GENERAL PURPOSE AND SCOPE OF POSITION
Provide class instruction within specific program.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Effectively deliver assigned classes in accordance with College loading policy and course objectives. [Also including clinical supervision or other program-specific responsibilities]. 2. Develop and maintain course outlines, syllabi, lesson plans, assignments, tests, and other course materials. 3. Maintain student records, attendance, grades, and or other documentation as required. Maintain a safe, quality classroom or lab, including equipment, supplies, inventory, and maintenance.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
A qualified faculty member must: 1. Possess an earned Master's degree or higher from a regionally accredited institution in accounting; OR 2. Possess an earned related or out-of-field master's degree, from a regionally accredited institution, with documented 18 semester hours or equivalent of courses in accounting beyond the introductory principle(s) level; OR 3. Possess an earned bachelor's degree in accounting, from a regionally accredited institution, with documentation in two or more of the following: - Professional Certification ( National, regional, or state) - Two years of in-field professional employment - Documented evidence of teaching excellence, including date of award - Documentation of research and publication in the field - Documented relevant additional coursework beyond the bachelor's degree, equivalent to 18 semester hours or equivalent subject matter coursework, CEU's, vendor, or military
