Loews Hotels at Universal Orlando is Now Hiring an Activities Coordinator!

Responsible for providing exceptional service to guests at the pool commensurate with the demands and expectations of a five-star hotel. Greets guests at the pool area, provides pool towels to guests, escort guests and positions chairs, sets up, refreshes, and tears down cabanas. Maintains the cleanliness and physical appearance of pool area.

• Adheres to all pool safety standards, including safety procedures for adverse weather conditions
• Knows the location and contents of First Aid Kit
• Sets up Activities board, audio equipment, and activity supplies daily according to schedule
• Facilitates scheduled activities on time in designated area
• Interacts with all guests with high energy through PA system and one on one
• Maintains stock and cleanliness of activities equipment and storage area
• Generates new ideas for activities and arts and crafts
• Greets guests arriving at the pool
• Provides information about pool food and beverage service and offers menus
• Promptly communicates food and beverage service requests to pool Food and Beverage Servers
• Provides chilled towels and water spray bottles/ sprit zing per Loews Hotels standards
• Knowledgeable and able to communicate all hotel Recreation offerings
• Loans recreational items and equipment
• Cleans, maintains, and positions pool furniture
• Picks up trash and dirty towels and repositions chairs throughout shift
• Applies excellent guest relations skills when interacting with guests
• Performs all duties in a timely and professional manner
• Turns in lost and found items throughout shift according to hotel procedures
• Monitors and maintains appropriate inventory of pool towels throughout shift, obtaining clean towels from the laundry and returning dirty towels
• Promotes and applies teamwork skills at all times
• Notifies appropriate individual promptly and fully of problems and/or unusual matters of significance
• Is polite, friendly, and helpful to guests, management and fellow employees
• Executes emergency procedures in accordance with hotel standards
• Complies with required safety regulations and procedures
• Attends appropriate hotel meetings and training sessions
• Maintains cleanliness and excellent condition of equipment and work area
• Complies with hotel standards, policies and rules
• Recycles whenever possible
• Remains current with hotel information and changes
• Complies with hotel uniform and grooming standards
